A True Las Vegas Native
I have many fond memories of this city in its formative years, when it could still be referred to as a small town. I remember driving up a two-lane Charleston Blvd. to Red Rock Canyon; and taking the school bus to Cashman Jr. High over a dirt road now called Rainbow Blvd. And I clearly recall one 4th of July celebration, shooting fireworks in what would eventually become the masterplanned community of Summerlin - but at the time it was merely barren desert.
I am confident in my ability to really know this city and its real estate market, because my roots run deep in this area. My family has been involved with the development of Las Vegas from its humble beginnings. My grandfather William J. Moore built and managed The Last Frontier, which was the 2nd hotel-casino built on the now famous Las Vegas Strip. In addition, my grandmother Patricia Moore was a founding member of both the First Presbyterian Church, and the Junior League of Las Vegas. Now it's my turn to play a role in the city's development, and I try to approach this duty with the same tenacity and integrity that my ancestors did!
As a native of Las Vegas I have lived in many parts of the city, partially because my parents were custom home builders. My experiences of living all over Las Vegas have been very positive, but I'm happy to have settled finally into the community of Summerlin, where I live with a loving and supportive family. My husband Garry has worked for Embarq, formally Sprint, for over 30 years and my 14-year-old son attends Faith Lutheran Jr/Sr High School. Although I enjoy my work very much, my favorite moments and memories involve spending time with my family and loved ones.
